Alex with Bass in the Studio

One who builds an aeroplane should be able to fly -
and whoever achieves to be in control of this fine handcraft to combine the thin threads of musical contributions to an artful masterpiece, should - obviously - do music, live music and love music for himself.
Following these principles I do not only play and create music by myself for more than 15 years now (bass guitar, piano, guitar, arranging), but I am also mixing and producing live as well as in the studio (and often somewhere in between - c.f., the Klangfarben-Videoblog) for several bands, singer/songwriters, solo artists etc.
I predominantly do this as quite a longtime, intense and serious hobby.
Together with increasingly expensive equipment came, by the time, more and more routine, so I decided to expose my work to the ears of the public on these pages. From time to time, I will post parts of my work and of course I am always happy to receive your feedback - so don't be shy!

To all those musicians out there: Whenever you're planning to do some demo tapes, you're in need of a live mixer or you're looking for a full studio session - you may always contact me! Since July 2017 I am running - together with my three colleagues from the Bowtie Band - a nice, almost luxurious combination of rehearsal rooms and studio in Bindlach, close to Bayreuth/Upper Franconia, which is outstandingly optimised regarding room acoustics and is well suited for holding band rehearsals as well as studio recordings.
I am very excited to hear and record your music together with you in these rooms! Or are you currently looking for a room to practice your music in Bayreuth? Then you're kindly invited to visit the page of the He!Paloma rehearsal rooms! Feel free to contact me anytime!

Rock on!
